Other Educational Technology Programs and Resources

Listed below are programs and resources that are available to those within all NASA regions, are not managed by EPO, and are sponsored by other NASA centers, or other agencies.
 
Programs

JASON
The JASON Foundation for Education, which was founded to administer the project, sponsors an annual scientific expedition which is the focus of an original curriculum developed for grades 5 through 12.

Earthkam-Sponsored by NASA, EarthKAM enables students to take photographs of Earth from a camera flown on a Space Shuttle.

NASA's Classroom of the Future - has a mission to develop curricular materials that improve mathematics, science, geography, and technology education in ways consistent with the national educational reform movement.
 
The NASA "Why?" Files Series is a standards-based, technology focused, close-captioned distance learning initiative designed to integrate and enhance the teaching of math, science, and technology in grades 3-5.


Resources

NASA Spacelink - is the official home to electronic versions of NASA's Educational Products. NASA educator guides, educational briefs, lithographs, and other materials are cross-referenced throughout Spacelink with related topics and events.

 

Ohio Science and Mathematics Coalition(OMSC)
OMSC is an advocacy group comprised of individuals from the education, business, and public sectors, working with the common goal of revitalization and improvement of mathematics, science, and technology education, from preschool to beyond graduate school. The OMSC mission is to facilitate collaboration for continuous, systemic, and sustainable improvement in mathematics, science and technology (MST) education for Ohio's more than one million students.
