The NASA Glenn Learning Technologies Project has established a partnership with WVIZ-TV, the public broadcasting station in Cleveland, Ohio, to create a NASA Educational Channel.

The NASA Educational Channel will use one of WVIZ-TV's Instructional Television Fixed Services Channels to re-broadcast NASA TV and NASA educational content. Together with other organizations at NASA Glenn, the Glenn LTP will supply educational content in the form of existing videotapes, tapes of videoconferencing workshops, and live presentations.

Tapes of these presentations, which are being broadcast from WVIZ as videoconferences with northeastern Ohio schools, are available for airing over the WVIZ/NASA Educational Channel.
